Nestled in the quaint town of Odelzhausen, this hotel is a prime stop if you're traveling through Germany. We popped in for a night on our way to visit the Dachau concentration camp and found it to be an affordable gem. At first glance, the pricing for our family of four was quite reasonable for a bed and breakfast, and check-in was a breezy noon. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the cheerful owner, who set a friendly tone for our stay. The staff were welcoming, making us feel at home right away. While our room showcased charming old-fashioned woodwork, the modernized bathroom was a pleasant surprise. That said, the flat-screen TV was outdated and required some fussing to get it working. The restaurant stood out with its delicious dishes, pulling in locals on a Saturday night, which speaks volumes. Breakfast was tasty, if simple. Though complimentary parking and free toiletries were nice touches, the overall bill seemed a tad high for the experience. For travelers weighing luxury against value, I'd say this hotel delivers a fine balance, especially considering its convenient access to the motorway and local attractions.
